So you want to know about me? I'm a fandom and cosplay nut. That's pretty much what clutters up my LJ. I like to think I'm a nice person. I keep to myself, living happily in my little corner of the internet and staying out of pretty much any kerfuffle that comes along. I RP, I write, I read and I just enjoy myself on my computer. I believe firmly in having fun and enjoying yourself, and that's what I'm here to do. My main fandoms are Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club, Death Note, and Babylon 5.

IRL I'm a disabled lesbian well over legal age who spends far too much time gaming and mucking about with toys. I don't put too much RL stuff in here, other than the occasional babble about my pets or anything interesting that happens to me. My life is more or less boring. ;)

I don't care if people like me. I don't care if people think I write amazing works of wonder or pieces of absolute crap. I enjoy it, and that's what matters to me.

What you will find in here? Fan fiction and drabbles, mostly, my opinions/gripes on the genres and writing in general, EPG babble, book/movie/video game reviews, discussion of pairings/ characters/situations, cosplay and Lolita fashion babble, and other, similar posts. Honestly, it's mostly random crap. I also post quiz results because I am a quiz whore.

I am not a 'shipper'. Discriminating over pairing preference is the stupidest thing I can think of. It's like fighting over which cereal is better. It doesn't matter! I tend to prefer fluff, but my favorite pairings seem to lend themselves to angst. But as long as it's pertinent angst... ;)

This goes both ways. I don't enjoy reading gratuitous angst, I don't write gratuitous angst. I don't write about edgy, hardcore topics just for the hell of it. I write what I like. I write for myself, I write for my friends, and I write for the fun of it. I write a lot. Some of it's pure crap, but I'm not making anyone read it. If you do read it and you do like it, awesome. If not, no biggy.

My friending policy?

If you friend me, I'll most usually friend you back. If your profile looks sketchy to me (I think you're just friending me to harrass me) I will not. But I do love new friends, and lurkers are fine by me as well. Spread the love people! Seriously, it's all about meeting people and sharing ideas. I don't go in for this fandom hate in any form. I ignore trolls, I ignore kerfluffles, and I do my best to stay out of it all. Don't drag me into it, I mean it.

Yeah, I realize there's probably something deeply twisted about adopting those two together, but I feel the need to show my love for them both.

Writing is like sex. You're putting all this effort into something beautiful, using every skill and technique you have to work to a perfect climax, but when the technicalities are involved you cringe.
