I'll Laugh My Whole Way Through the Hurricanes and Fire

I'm actually feeling mildly productive today. I got cleaning done, and am feeling much better for it. I was kind of letting my room get away from me. But it's tidy(ish) now, and I organized some stuff, and I finally printed out the beautiful Gracia picture questofdreams did for me and another piece of art I really love. I used photo-paper, and they look like lovely glossy prints. Now I just need to figure out where to hang them. They'll probably end up between my Dante (Sparda) art that zinjadu got me and my 'Shores of Avalon' print by Ruth Thompson. I've been thinking of getting a wallscroll that's longer than it is tall to go between them, but I may as well use the space. (I also have 'Howl' by Ruth Thompson, a Cowboy Bebop wallscroll, my FMA Conqueror of Shamballa wallscroll and two Weiss Kruez posters hanging up, plus a collection of mikazuki' s art. Oh, and this beautiful limited edition print by a Seattle artist with a ghost pirate ship and an old fashioned naval ship.)

I want to get a frame board thing for all my Nene Thomas small prints. There was a deal at the Renn Faire, with ten for some amount of money, so I grabbed ten. They're all kind of propped up in front of my medium sized Amy Brown prints. Which I need frames for, too. And I need to hang up my Tactics art.

I'd take pictures, but I still can't find my damn camera connecting cord.

I should also probably rescue my Legolas doll from where he's been crushed by books. (Not the Legolas Ken doll, the actual Legolas doll.)

The ever amazing and talented mikazuki drew the most adorable picture! It's Feylene and Miss Cori, our Ragnarok Online characters! And the main characters of what has caught on as the FeyxCori fandom. I'm grinning like an idiot, that was an awesome thing to wake up to! I'm in love with Cori's art style, and I have been ever since I first saw it. I suck at describing or critiquing art, so I won't even try. But there's just something happy about her pieces. Whenever I look at any of her art, it makes me happy. There's a certain bright joy in all of her work that is unique and unmistakable and I have never seen in another artist.

I have the best girlfriend ever!

Omigod. So, mikazuki posted the last of her fandom Xmas gifts today, and I finally saw mine. I'm reposting it here because some of the artist's commentary is spoilery, but this had to be shared. Something like this can't go without as much recognition as possible. Plus you know, it's gorgeous art. I am... I can't even go into words at how touched and amazed and happy I am right now. I don't have the words or icon to fully express my sheer joy right now.

mikazuki drew me what I suppose is my favorite FMA pairing. Yes, I am having a total silly fangirl moment right now, but I don't care. I am beyond happy right now. Behold:
